Google Calendar and Outlook

Let your agent read real availability and book appointments straight into your calendar.

Connecting your calendar

The connection belongs to your workspace. Each business connects its own calendar and can never see another's.

  1. Open Settings and choose Integrations.
  2. Click Connect on Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar.
  3. Sign in with the account that owns the calendar and approve the permissions.

Booking during a call

Once a calendar is connected you can turn on booking for an agent and set your appointment length and working hours. The agent then checks free and busy before it offers anything, so it never offers a slot that is already taken, and writes the appointment to the calendar while the caller is still on the line.

It can also look up an existing appointment by phone number to reschedule or cancel it.

Appointments as workflow triggers

  • Appointment booked, rescheduled or cancelled, whether the agent did it or someone did it in the calendar directly.
  • Appointment starting soon, with your own reminder offsets, for confirmation messages.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting stops all access immediately and removes the stored authorisation. Appointments already on your calendar stay exactly where they are.
